Real estate is in Scott Hamling’s blood. The son of an appraiser, Scott followed in his father’s footsteps and began his career appraising homes. After graduating from Arizona State University, Scott opened his own appraisal company and spent 25 years as an appraiser. Through his experience as an appraiser, Scott became very knowledgeable about the mortgage process, facilitating his career move into mortgage loan origination.

Scott brings a unique skill set to the table as both a loan originator and appraiser. His extensive appraisal experience gives him the ability to understand property value and provide guidance throughout the mortgage process. Scott can offer advice and reassurance on whether your offer is in line with the market, or if you’re selling a property, he can help come up with comps to ensure you get top dollar for your home.

A Colorado native, Scott loves helping Colorado home owners achieve their financial goals. He also spends time teaching appraisal classes to real estate agents. Scott is an avid skier and grew up riding horses almost every single day. He is married with three daughters, and his happy place is skiing with his family or on horseback.
